Five years since its first hotel opened
SINGULAR PROPERTIES GROUP was established on a vision of excellence and quality that began with the opening of its signature resort in São Miguel. Based on a differentiated model, each of its units were developed to position the GROUP at the forefront of the international hospitality and tourism industry.
The GROUP’s first unit, the SANTA BÁRBARA Eco-Beach Resort, was inaugurated in 2015: situated above the dark-sand beach of the Santa Bárbara areal, it was the Azores’ first eco-beach resort. This was followed shortly by WHITE Exclusive Suites & Villas, our boutique lodging situated along the coastal cliffs in Lagoa and offering nine private suites and villas. More recently, LA MAISON, opened to offer visitors another option that consisted of an exclusive residence with the perks of a 5-Star hotel.
These three new tourist ventures have transformed the local hospitality industry and have been popular with national and international visitors.
Shared Vision & New Projects
With growth in local tourism, it became clear that it was time to take the next step.
Following from the successes of SANTA BÁRBARA, WHITE and LA MAISON, the SINGULAR PROPERTIES GROUP was constituted to emphasize and promote a unified vision centred on Authenticity, Exclusivity, Sustainability and Excellence.
Our experiences within the regional market and understanding of global industry trends suggest that our model is perfectly-aligned with new global trends in tourism. Consequently, each of our properties have their own distinct characteristics consisting of differentiated services, spaces and accommodations, while maintaining the same bespoke elegance, rich quality and unforgettable experience.
With this in mind, the GROUP is in the process of finalizing another of its signature retreats, to be opened in 2022. Situated on the island of São Jorge, within the wonderful UNESCO-designated Fajã de Santo Cristo, OWNERS’ RETREAT promises to continue the GROUP’S shared vision. Another of our singular properties, the traditional residence promotes an authentic stay, exclusivity, ecologically sustainable practices and attention to the highest levels of excellence.
